Overview
These Terms & Conditions govern all bookings and travel services provided by Simien Ethiopia Tours (“we”, “us”, “our”). By confirming a booking, you agree to these Terms.
Booking & Payment
- A 30% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. The deposit may be credited toward a future trip if postponed.
- The remaining balance must be paid 45 days before departure, unless otherwise stated.
- Payments must be made in the currency shown on your invoice.
Cancellations
Cancellations must be made in writing. The following charges apply:
- 45+ days before departure: 30%
- 44–30 days: 50%
- 29–15 days before departure: 75%
- 14 days or less: 100%
No refunds are provided for no-shows, late arrivals, or early departures.
Changes & Pricing
- Changes requested after confirmation may result in additional charges.
- Prices may be adjusted due to fuel costs, taxes, supplier rates, airfare changes, or currency fluctuations.
Children
Child rates are available upon request. Travellers aged 12 years and above are considered adults unless stated otherwise.
Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel and medical insurance is mandatory and must cover medical expenses, emergency evacuation, trip cancellation, and loss of personal belongings. We are not responsible for costs due to insufficient insurance coverage.
Liability & Responsibility
Simien Ethiopia Tours is not liable for loss, injury, delay, or damage caused by illness, weather, natural disasters, political events, third-party suppliers, or circumstances beyond our control.
Travellers are responsible for meeting visa, health, and customs requirements.
We reserve the right to modify itineraries or services when necessary, providing suitable alternatives where possible.
Privacy
We collect personal data solely to manage bookings and deliver services. Personal information is not sold and is shared only with service providers when required. Clients may request access or correction of their data where legally permitted.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Ethiopia, subject to applicable consumer protection regulations.
