The Simien Mountains, in northern Ethiopia, north east of Gondar in Amhara region, are part of the Ethiopian Highlands. They are a World Heritage Site and include the Simien Mountains National Park. The mountains consist of plateaus separated by valleys and rising to pinnacles.

Day 01 Gondar to Sankaber
You can be dropped off three or four hours trek before the campsite to enjoy the views over the escarpment and you are likely to spot large troops of the Gelada monkeys. And you stay the night at Sankaber camp which is at 3250m.
Day 02 Sankaber to Geech
Trek from Sankaber camp to Geech camp via Jinbar falls but on the way you may have a chance to see Menelik Bush buck and Klipspringer which takes around 6 hours and stay overnight at Geech camp and 3600m.
Day 03 Geech to Chennek
Based on Geech camp you will do a day trek to Imet Gogo, Siha, Kedadit from where there are excellent views of the Simien Mountains escarpment about 6 hours walking then stay overnight at Geech camp again.
Day 04 Geech to chennek
Trek Geech to Chennek (3620m). at Chennek there are again excellent views, and you should are more Gelada monkeys, Walia Ibex and if you are lucky the Ethipian Wolf. The day walking is it takes around 8 hours then stay the night at Chennek 3600m.
